Complete a Live Scan and any other additional background checks needed.

Attend Pre-Approval training through an approved vendor or online through Foster Parent College.  Talk with your RFA worker about your options!

Begin to prepare your home for a RFA readiness walk through.

Complete a Family Evaluation, which determines your readiness to be a resource family.

Complete a Home Environment Assessment walk through to assess your home’s safety.
